Kensington makes it easy to charge, sync and protect iPads in the classroom
SYDNEY – 4 July, 2013 – As classrooms become more hi-tech with the integration of tablets as learning tools, Kensington has launched a range of products for iPads® designed specifically for the education environment.
Today, paper and pens continue to be superseded by tablets, which are now common teaching aids in primary schools across Australia. The new Kensington SafeGrip is designed to protect valuable iPads from damage, while the Charge and Sync Cabinet enables simple device management in the classroom.

Kensington SafeGrip for iPad
Schools have quickly learned that iPads have not been engineered to withstand the rigours of primary school users. The SafeGrip range of colourful and rugged cases is designed to prevent damage within classrooms, reducing risk and leaving more time for valuable learning.
The Kensington family of SafeGrip cases includes a range of options that feature tough, padded protection against drops and bumps. A robust handle ergonomically designed for children also doubles as a two-position stand for viewing and typing. In addition to the standard SafeGrip case, there is also a security case option, with a ClickSafe anchor that can be secured to any immovable object for safe keeping. The range includes cases that are compatible with iPad 2 through iPad 4 models, as well as the iPad mini.
The Kensington family of rugged cases also provides complete screen protection against scratches and smudges. All of the products feature a stylus holder and a personalisation feature that allows each iPad to be uniquely identified.
Kensington Charge & Sync Cabinet for iPad
With space for up to 10 iPads and the ability to stack up to three cabinets, the Kensington Charge and Sync Cabinet is designed to simplify the management of multiple devices. A single power cord connects the cabinet to the power socket and provides electricity for all 10 devices, while easy access to each iPad connector port eliminates the complexities of charging and syncing multiple tablets.
For increased security, each iPad cabinet can be anchored to an immovable object with an integrated mounting plate or a cable lock. Additionally, to minimise the threat of overheating, a built-in fan keeps iPads cool as they charge and sync.
The Kensington Charge & Sync Cabinet is compatible with iPad, iPad 2, and iPad 3rd and 4th gen models.
