Kensington mouse design impresses on international stage

Kensington, the mobile computing accessories provider, has won accolades from three prestigious global design-focused groups, endorsing the ‘smart made simple’ approach behind its latest range of mice.

The SlimBlade mice, launched in Q4 2007, have won awards from iF Design (Hannover, Munich and Taipei, 2008), Red Dot (Germany and Singapore, 2007) and the Consumer Electronics Show ‘Innovations Design & Engineering Award’ (Las Vegas, January 2007). The judges praised Kensington for its originality in both the ‘look and feel’ and technology behind the design of
the mice.

Fritz Frenkler, jury chairperson at the iF Design awards, commented: “This year the authentic products had a clear edge. Neither fusion, nor retro, nor imitations: only those that recognise the simplicity and straightforwardness
of products can be successful in the long run and make an impact on the
new modernity.”
