New range of wireless mice offers superior design to mobile computer users
Kensington, the computer accessories company, has launched two ranges of mobile mice that move away from the common ‘smallest is best’ mantra. Instead, Kensington has created mice that are comfortable to use, high-performance and attractive to look at. The stylish mice are specifically tailored to the needs of mobile workers: they have excellent battery life and accuracy, and are streamlined to fit into any laptop bag.
Designed in California, the Ci-range is built for people who need desktop quality on the move, and the Si-range offers even higher-performance, for professional users requiring an even higher standard of comfort and control.
Kensington’s premium mice, the Si 650m and Si 750m, not only look good but use interference-resistant 2.4 Ghz wireless technology for better connectivity, and a high resolution laser sensor that will work on almost any surface. The Si 650m is a mid-sized mouse that’s also suitable for desk use, and the Si 720m is a micro-sized mouse with a sculpted design that’s ideal for use on the move. The mice offer an excellent battery life of 6-9 months, so users can depend on them, wherever they are working.
The Ci 65m and Ci 25m mice use Kensington’s Diamond Eye optical technology for excellent accuracy and responsiveness. The Ci 25m has a retractable cord that makes it easy to pack and carry, while the Ci 65m is a wireless mouse using QuickRF wireless technology to ensure high performance. Like the Si mice, the Ci 65m has extended battery life – its two AA batteries can last up to nine months.
“We’ve always aimed to bring our customers the best technology at the best price, and now we’re offering them the best design as well,” said Cedric Villerio, European product manager for Kensington’s Control It ranges. “Both the Ci and Si ranges will make working on the move easy and comfortable.”
He continued: “With this launch we’ve developed a full range of mice to meet the needs of all laptop users, whether they are looking for a mouse with a long wireless range for use in presentations, or an ultra-comfortable mouse designed for long periods at a laptop.”
The Si and Ci mice are available from xx, with prices starting at £xx.
