Products entered in the program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, independent engineers and members of the trade media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 28 product categories. Kensington’s VeriMark Fingerprint Key was not only chosen to be an Honoree, but the judges felt that it is the most impressive technology in its product category, scoring higher than all the rest.

The first of its kind anywhere in the world, the Kensington VeriMark Fingerprint Key combines superior biometric performance and 360-degree readability with anti-spoofing technology and fingerprint activated collaboration capabilities. Designed to meet Windows Hello security requirements, the key allows users without a fingerprint sensor in their computers to enjoy the benefits of faster, more secure login that Windows Hello affords. And, businesses whose employee computers do not have biometric authentication capabilities, can easily deploy the fingerprint key without having to replace an entire fleet of laptops. The VeriMark Fingerprint Key is optimized for Windows Hello, Windows 10 and is compatible with Windows 7/8.1.
