The range of these presenters is 50 feet (15 meters).

How long is the average battery life on Kensington wireless presenters?

Average battery life under normal use is approximately six months (AAA alkaline batteries).  To conserve battery life,be sure to turn the presenter off when it is not in use.

My wireless presenter is showing up an ��Unknown Keyboard�" on Mac OS X.  What should I do?

If you are receiving an ��Unknown Keyboard�" on screen message on your Macintosh computer when attaching a wireless presenter, please take the following actions:  

1. Unplug the USB receiver from the computer
2. Restart the computer
3. Once the restart process is complete, plug the USB receiver back into the same USB slot
4. The presenter will now work normally and will show up in System Properties as a wireless presenter

Which software applications will Kensington wireless presenters work with?

Kensington wireless presenters are only designed to work with Microsoft Powerpoint (PC and Macintosh) and Apple Keynote (Macintosh only).  Although there are many other presentation applications in the market, our wireless presenters are only designed to work with these two applications.

Is a replacement receiver available for the Pocket Presenter Wireless Laser (Model Number: 33062)?

No. The Wireless Presentation Remote is uniquely paired with its receiver from among 65,000 separate IDs.

Can the buttons be programmed on the Kensington Wireless Presentation Remote controls?

No

Is the Wireless presenter remote compatible with Windows 2000/ Windows Vista/Mac?

Yes, but with the Mac it is only compatible with Mac OS 10.4.8 and higher

What batteries can I use with my Wireless Presentation Remote?

2 x AAA batteries

My wireless presenter isn’t working correctly – how do I fix it?

Occasionally the wireless presenter will need to be reset. This can be due to rough handling, a drop to the ground for instance. Reset by plugging the receiver into an available USB port, then using a small Phillips screwdriver remove and reinstall the battery in the remote. When the battery is reinstalled and the Next, Previous or Hide controls are used on the Remote, the LED on the receiver should flash. At this point, the wireless presenter has been reset and is ready to use.
